Linus' Waterbirth Story

Linus Kazuhiko born at home.  He came with his hand up!  7lb 8oz 20.5 inches.

 

Caught by my amazing student midwife, Rebecca, and her supervising midwife, Faith.

 

I got immediate skin to skin and my husband, Jake, got to cut his cord.

 

It was a rough experience for me and I wanted to give up so many times.

I really couldn’t have gotten this VBAC without the support of my birth team.  So thankful to have met these wonderful people.

 

His big sister is excited to take care of him.  Lucy: “He is cute!  Good job, mom!!!  You still look pregnant”.
